Woman learns CPR in Cloudcroft Fire Department, Saves 3 Year Old Boys Life

Brittany Trujillo, had just trained for her certification at the Cloudcroft Fire Department ten days before this emergency with her Mother-in-Law, Rhonda Napoleon, who works as web and social media manager for the fire station.
Brittany was waiting on her flight at the El Paso Airport when the incident occurred and she took action to save the boys life.
As representing Cloudcroft Fire Department, we send our congratulations and thanks to Brittany as the provider of the life saving skills and our best wishes to the child and family.   News Story Link

CHARLISS RANDALL

Picture
  UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN
On March 27, 2019 AT 6 AM, Our Heavenly Father sent his angels to earth to call a very special person home to live with him. Charliss Randall was a friend to all and loved by all.
I know that she is now with Jesus as well as her Mother and Pappy. They are probably eating cold black- eyed peas and cornbread as she did growing up. Charliss, you were taken from us way to soon. We had too many unfinished things we were going to do. We know that smile is back along with the sparkle in your eyes. You are loved and will be missed so much. From all of us in EMS, Fire, CLOC, Kiwanis and the many organizations you were in. We love you and miss you. Rest In Peace, my dear friend. Thank you for all your years of service, friendship, sassiness and teaching. Until we meet again in Heaven.
All your Friends and Comrades.

STEVE BEVINS

Picture
The Cloudcroft Fire Department lost one of their own. Steve Bevins #70, after many years of service to the community, he has passed away unexpectedly. Aside from being a dedicated volunteer firefighter, he was also personally interested in supporting the community as a whole as a small businesses owner. To that end, he often gave his merchandise away at cost for any worthwhile group or activity. He just loved supporting all of us and being part of this wonderful mountain family.
Steve often enjoyed challenging your knowledge before revealing his own. He loved to challenge your sensibilities in the most unassuming way. In any conversation he would smile and interject “you don’t know….you just don’t know”. At first you would be caught off guard and want to respond “and who are you to question what I know”. Shortly though, you would realize it was his lighthearted way to make you think about everything you take for granted. He would use his “one-liner” on everything from politics to religion, firefighting, football or the universe, even how you tie your shoes. With a smile and that one insistent comment, he made us all take pause, take his view of the world into consideration……. thereby making him a part of us forever!
Steve, you will be missed. From the Hawaiian shirts you would wear, to the witty remarks you always had, and the strong work ethic you were so well know for, you will forever be missed and loved by this mountain community. Thank you for your service.
May you rest in peace for ever firefighter Bevins,Cloudcroft 70. Keep an eye on us from up there!
